Upon learning about the unique challenges and opportunities in the senior living market more than 25 years ago, Dennis’s career has been focused on serving the industry from a variety of perspectives ever since.
During his early career Dennis held sales leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry with award-winning careers at Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, inVentiv Health and Astellas.
Dennis later directed his career to technology to serve the industry. He introduced the value of automated medication dispensing to LTC pharmacy with Omnicell as the VP of Sales Specialty Care. He also provided consulting services for AutoMed, Talyst and OnSiteRx.
More recently, Dennis held leadership roles with major EHR and SaaS providers in the senior living space as Senior VP of Sales and SVP of Business Development with MatrixCare and General Manager of Senior Living with Netsmart. The EHR/EMR experience touched on every aspect of technology to support the senior living industry, including clinical, pharmacy, operations, finance, marketing, resident engagement and caregiver support. He also supported several start-up organizations as Chief Growth Officer for Anavah Health, EyeClick, Embodied Labs and as Advisor to etectRx. Dennis has maintained strong relationships with all major senior living trade associations, including AHCA, Leading Age, Argentum, NADONA and ASCP at the national and state association levels.

Dr. Gerald Klein, MD

Gerald L. Klein, MD is a Clinical Immunologist. He is an expert in Medical Affairs and Clinical Development and has published numerous scientific papers. He was a professor of Medicine and Pediatrics (Division of Basic and Applied Immunology) at University California, Irvine.

Dr. Klein currently serves as the CMO of Claradele, an early-stage oncology company. He was a founder and CEO of Entera Health Inc., a GI biotherapeutics company. There, he created and managed both the clinical development and medical affairs programs. He was the Chief Medical Officer of Talecris/Grifols, and he was also its VP of Medical and Clinical Affairs. Dr. Klein has also been CMO/VP Medical and Clinical Affairs at several specialty biopharmaceutical companies including: Dey/MerckKgAa, Clingenix, Specialty Labs, Pathway Diagnosis: Oxygen Biotherapeutic/Tanex.

Dr. Klein began his career in industry by founding a CRO, San Diego Clinical Research Association, (SDCRA) where he served as CEO and CMO. SDCRA was acquired by Quintiles,(IQVIA) where Dr. Klein, was an SVP and worked in both Global Medical Affairs and Drug Development. Additionally, Dr. Klein has been on the Board of Directors of Nano Corp, Oxygen Biotherapeutics, and Plakous Therapeutics. Dr. Klein has served as an interim and part time CMO for multiple biotherapeutic companies. He is an associate editor and editorial board member of several publications as well as having an extensive list of peer review publications.

Dr. Peter C. Johnson, MD

Peter C. Johnson, MD is a University of Notre Dame and SUNY Upstate Medical University graduate. After General and Plastic Surgery training, Dr. Johnson practiced reconstructive surgery for ten years at U. Pittsburgh where he founded and was the first President of the Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative. Subsequent roles were co-founder/CEO of Tissue Informatics, EVP of Life Sciences, CMO and CBO of Icoria, EVP, Entegrion, Inc. and VP, Research and Development and Medical and Scientific Affairs of Vancive Medical Technologies, an Avery Dennison business. He presently serves as President and CEO of Scintellix, LLC and Chief Medical Advisor to Vancive Medical Technologies. He has chaired the Plastic Surgery Research Council, was President of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association and the Tissue Engineering Society, International (now TERMIS) and is presently the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the three-part Journal, Tissue Engineering.

He serves on the board of the Transverse Myelitis Association, of MEDIC as well as the Industrial Technology Advisory Board, Michigan-Pittsburgh-Wyss Regenerative Medicine Resource Center and is on the Industry Advisory Board of the UNC/NC State Joint Program in Bioengineering. He is an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, of Biomedical Engineering at NC State and of Regenerative Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is an avid cook; fly fisherman, artist, novelist and is the proprietor of Lark Farm.

Neil R. Euliano II, PhD

Dr. Neil R. Euliano II has been developing medication compliance technology since 2002 and was a co-founder of eTect in 2009. As principal investigator of the National Science Foundation program, he helped lead the development of the technology behind etectRx. Dr. Euliano was also the vice president of research and development at NeuroDimension, Inc and an R&D engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories. He is currently the president of Convergent Engineering, a biomedical engineering R&D firm focused on applying machine intelligence and advanced signal processing to medicine. Dr. Euliano is co-author of several books and approximately 20 PubMed indexed articles. He currently holds 36 issued US patents, 50+ international patents, and has many other patents pending. Dr. Euliano has been the principal investigator on over eight million dollars of research funding from NIH, NSF, and other non-government sources.

Dr. Euliano holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer science and a master’s and PhD in electrical and computer engineering, all from the University of Florida where he is also a Courtesy Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology.
