EdenHill Communities Partners with etectRx for Innovative Incontinence Care Solution
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
GAINESVILLE, Florida (February 5, 2025) – etectRx™, Inc. (etectRx™), a leading digital health sensor company, is excited to announce its partnership with EdenHill Communities, marking the first eBrief™ Early Adopter Program (EAP) partnership in the State of Texas. This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of care for EdenHill’s memory care and skilled nursing residents through the deployment of the eBrief Intelligent Incontinence Monitoring System, set to go live in Spring 2025.
Wendy Carpenter, a forward-thinking leader at EdenHill Communities, has consistently prioritized innovative solutions for her senior residents. “For too long, this industry has relied on antiquated methods and created a culture where we force seniors to wait for attention to their needs related to incontinence. Now, with this innovative and convenient technology, caregivers can take pride in knowing they are addressing needs as they arise and are no longer restricted by outdated and ineffective processes,” said Carpenter. Having previously explored other incontinence solutions, she believes that this partnership with etectRx will finally deliver the effective solution she has been seeking. “This technology will revolutionize how we manage incontinence care. With real time notification and attention to incontinence episodes, we will see much improved outcomes with a reduction in both urinary tract infections and skin breakdown, not to mention protecting and enhancing seniors’ dignity,” she stated.
In the U.S., incontinence is a prevalent issue among senior residents, often leading to significant health risks and challenges for care staff. The eBrief System is designed to alleviate these burdens by offering real-time urinary incontinence monitoring through a discreet, battery-free moisture sensor embedded in incontinence products. The system notifies staff when a resident’s brief needs changing, enhancing both the dignity of residents and the efficiency of caregivers.
“We are thrilled to partner with EdenHill Communities, a pioneer in seeking innovative solutions for their residents,” said Scott Kozimor, VP of Sales and Marketing at etectRx. “This collaboration is set to redefine the standards of incontinence care, ensuring that residents receive the compassion and respect they deserve.”
With this partnership, EdenHill Communities aims to elevate the quality of life for its residents, while setting a benchmark for intelligent incontinence care in Texas.
