We started with a big idea to create a technology that would allow patients to receive the amount of medication they needed, when they needed it. With our wireless event marker in hand, we set out to address the medication adherence problem head-on. Along the way, we discovered broad and varying use cases for our sensor and its accompanying platform, eBurst. Sensors have quickly become ubiquitous in many corners of our lives, and the proliferation of this kind of technology has spread to the mainstream. For us, what started as a quest to track medication ingestions, has blossomed into a convergence of use cases with one thing in common: a need for timely, accurate information that can be used to improve patient outcomes – the very thing we pioneered years ago.
